The dude abides.
Back in October, his dudeness, the very talented Oscar-winning actor Jeff Bridges announced the he had been diagnosed with cancer. Specifically, lymphoma, and that he would be starting treatment soon.
And yesterday, he gave his fans another update.
Jeff has been updating his fans here and there along the way, but yesterday, he shared a picture of himself with a shaved head, and I have to say, it’s pretty hard to even recognize him.
But overall, Jeff appears to be in good spirits.
“Here’s the latest: Feeling good, Shaved my head, Got a puppy – Monty, Had a Birthday – 71, man.”
Jeff Bridges is the real deal.
Of course, you have your classics like The Contender, Starman, True Grit, Hell or Highwater and more, but The Big Lebowski has to be the most memorable role of his award-winning career. And then you have Crazy Heart, one of my all time favorite movies.
If you haven’t seen it, stop what you’re doing and watch it right now. And if you have, watch it again, and then let’s all say a prayer for Jeff because he’s a damn legend.
