How Do We Get Tyler Childers & His Wife Senora May To Record A Duet Together?

How do we get more of this?

Obviously, Tyler Childers is one of the best things to happen to country music in decades, but did you know that his wife Senora May is also a singer? And a pretty damn good one.

A while back we shared a video of them singing Willie Nelson’s “Sad Songs and Waltzes,” and if you’ve never seen it, it’s as awesome as you might expect. Tyler closes out the duet with a solo performance of his unreleased “The Wonder & The Why,” which is honestly one of my all-time favorite Childers tunes.

Anyways, after scouring the interwebs for more duets Tyler and Lady May, I found that there just isn’t much of it out there. Save for a few poor quality cellphone recordings from back in the day. So I’ll ask it again… how do we get them to record a song together?

Here’s a few that I could find:

“There Ain’t No Ash Will Burn,” written by Walt Aldridge and was first released by Ranch Romance in 1989.

Here’s their duet of Willie Nelson’s “Sad Songs & Waltzes.”

And the old hymn, “The Old Country Church,” which was recorded by Hank Williams.

And finally, for those of you just now finding out that Tyler’s wife Senora May is a singer, here’s “Flowers Wilt.”
