Miranda Lambert’s Wildcard record has been a smashing success, and in my humble opinion, one of the best she’s ever put out. And for her, it all started with confidence.
“Of all the records I’ve made, I feel like it’s the one that I’ve overthought the least… I just had confidence in the process. I had confidence in him (referring to producer Jay Joyce), I had confidence in the band, I had confidence in the songs, and I was not gonna go home and stress myself out to death over this because I just felt it was gonna work.”
And it did.
“Bluebird” found Miranda with her first Billboard #1 single in 8 years, which is utter bullshit, but still a success nonetheless.
