HARDY Releases Action-Packed Short Film For “Gin & Juice,” Featuring Snoop Dogg And Dr. Dre

The music video is here.

In April, HARDY released a completely reimagined version of Snoop Dogg’s iconic 90’s song “Gin and Juice,” which was produced by the legendary Dr. Dre (after they reached out to Hardy personally to ask him to do it), and today, they put out an accompanying short film.

Featuring Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre and actress Nicola Peltz Beckham (daughter-in-law to David and Victoria Beckham, for whatever that’s worth), it finds Hardy and company in the year 1930, ready to sell Snoop and Dre a very special concoction alongside Nicola.

It’s a very obvious promotion of Snoop and Dre’s new premium spirits brand Gin & Juice by Dre and Snoop, which is a ready-to-drink cocktail named for their iconic 90’s song. Hardy totally rewrote the song with a very country flair for his rendition, and it’s definitely unlike anything you’ve ever heard and a pretty far cry from the original 90’s hit.

Hardy says working with Snoop and Dre has been “a dream,” from recording the song and making the music video, and he hops to hang out with them again soon:

“The entire ‘Gin & Juice’ process has been a dream for me. I recorded the song and in a few short weeks I was on set with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg.

It didn’t feel real until I showed up and I saw the names on the trailers. I spent two days with them and I can honestly say they are two of the coolest, most genuine people and they made me feel right at home.

I am so thankful for the experience and I’m looking forward to hanging with those guys again.”

The video itself is of course really well-done and high quality, full of live action and plenty of gin… check it out:

They also released a remixed version of HARDY’s cover called “Gin & Juice (Another Shot From Dr. Dre)”:
