Colter Wall Does It AGAIN

A man with a hat

Folks, Colter Wall has done it again.

If he wasn’t already, the release of Western Swing & Waltzes and Other Punchy Songs has firmly cemented Colter as an absolute force to be reckoned with in the country music community. In the world of cookie-cutter and copycat country music, Colter stands in a class all his own.

With vivid imagery, a penchant for the history of the Western Frontier and that captivating baritone voice, perhaps nobody in country music can carve out a story from a such a different era like Colter can.

Featuring Stan Jones classic “Cowpoke,” and a cover of Marty Robbins’ “Big Iron,” most of the album however was solely written by Colter himself, and for the first time in his career, Colter self-produced the project as well.

And of the new album, all Colter had to say was ““these songs are punchier than I am.”

Gotta love it.

Here’s a few standout tracks:

“Rocky Mountain Rangers”

“Henry and Sam”

“Big Iron”
