After Record-Setting 114 Weeks, Morgan Wallen’s ‘If I Know Me’ Is #1 Album In Country Music

It took more than two years, but Morgan Wallen officially has the #1 album in country music.

Making its chart debut back on May 12th, 2018, Morgan’s debut album If I Know Me topped the Billboard Country Album chart this week, after a record-setting 114 weeks on the chart.

114 weeks tops Hunter Hayes’ previous record of 89 weeks, which was set when Hunter’s self-titled EP topped the chart back in 2013.

Morgan is gearing up to release his sophomore album later this year, and something tells me it won’t take anywhere near as long to reach the top. He’ll also be releasing the fan favorite unreleased jam “7 Summers” later this week.

New baby, new song, new album on the way, and now, the number one album in country music… Morgan is having himself quite a year.
