Morgane Stapleton Delivers Exceptional Performance Of “Stop Cheatin’ On Me”

Everybody knows that Chris Stapleton is one of the best things to ever happen to country music, but if you’ve ever seen Chris live, you’ve undoubtedly seen his wife on stage right next to him.

As a songwriter and an exceptional vocalist in her own right, Morgane has penned songs for Carrie Underwood, Alan Jackson, Reba and more, and offered up her angelic voice as a background vocalist for Carrie Underwood, Trace Adkins, Dierks Bentley and more.

And while she’s usually singing harmonies with Chris, Morgane was front and center for this old performance of “Stop Cheatin’ On Me,” a song she wrote that was eventually cut by Kellie Pickler.

And all I can say is DAMN.

If Morgane happens to take over the lead vocals during a song or two on this next Chris Stapleton album, I would not be mad at it.

Here’s the recorded version from Kellie and Morgane.
