You wanna walk around town vandalizing, looting, and destroying people’s property? You better be ready to deal with the owner.
TMZ picked up some footage this afternoon of NBA star J.R. Smith beating the living hell out of a rioter that smashed up the windows of his truck today. And at 6′ 6” and 225 lbs, a pissed off J.R. is one of the last guys you’d want to fuck with.
According to the J.R. his truck was parked in a Los Angeles residential area, away from the riots and the looting, but that didn’t stop this bozo from causing trouble.
The video picks up with the vandalizer already on the ground taking a barrage of kicks from J.R., and when he finally gets to his feet, JR lands one hard right to the face.
Obviously you’d like to see cooler heads prevail, but given the circumstances, it’s not surprising to see someone defending their property.
J.R. addressed the situation shortly after.
“I just want y’all to know right now before you all see this shit somewhere else… One of these little mother fucking white boys didn’t know where he was going and broke my fucking window in my truck. I chased him down and whooped his ass… So if the footage come out and y’all see it, I chased him down and whooped his ass. He broke my window. This ain’t no hate crime.”
I bet he thinks twice before he smashes another window.
