Florida man is BACK.
It’s been a while since we’ve heard from Florida man, with quarantine going on you’d think we’ve have a whole truckload of weird Florida man stories, but it’s been quite the opposite.
And this Florida man is going to Disney World.
According to the New York Times, Richard McGuire, originally of Mobile, Alabama, has been spending his quarantine by illegally camping on Disney’s World’s Discovery Island. Deputies searched the island by foot, by helicopter, and by boat before finally find him.
He called the place a “tropical paradise” and told officers that he was only planning on staying for about a week, even though the park has been closed due to Coronavirus. The island itself however has been closed for the past 20 years. He also said that he was an “urban explorer” making videos for his YouTube channel.
He was arrested and charged with trespassing, and banner from all Disney World Parks.
I mean looking at this guy, I’m thinking we probably shouldn’t let him in any Disney Parks anyway, but if there was ever a time to try and camp in a deserted island, now would be the time.
