Coronavirus has claimed its next victim… Stagecoach.

According to Billboardfestival organizers are scrambling to move the festival (along with the even more popular Coachella) to a weekend in October as a direct result of the Coronavirus outbreak. With three additional cases confirmed yesterday in Riverside County, their permit to host the two festivals for hundreds of thousands of people will likely be pulled.

If organizers cannot successfully move the two festivals to October, they will most likely be canceled.

Stagecoach was set to be headlined by Eric Church, Thomas Rhett and Carrie Underwood, and also feature performances from Alan Jackson, Jon Pardi, Tanya Tucker, Midland and more.

Well, that suck…

Just yesterday, we were gettin’ pumped for that Eric/Alan combo on Sunday night…

Honestly, it’s pretty hard to imagine that they’ll be able to get everything moved, especially in the next 48 hours or so.

Artists will be on fall tours so good luck getting all of them to return, the vendors, the contractors, the employees… it’s just an absolute nightmare to try and reschedule an entire festival. I’d guess that even if they do get it rescheduled, the lineups are going to look a bit different, but either way, fingers are crossed.

Stay tuned…
