Some 30 years in the making, the Hot Country Knights are finally gearing up to release their debut studio album.
With nasty ’90s Country guitar licks, lots of testosterone, and a healthy dose of pelvic thrusts, the Hot Country Knights are looking to bring that ’90s country heat back to the mainstream.
“We were out on the road singing a lot of other people’s hits, and we called them Greatest Hits because by us singing them, it actually made them great,” Doug Douglason explains. “But this is a step beyond our Greatest Hits. This is all original material, and it’s the best stuff to come out of Nashville from a man band in several decades.”
With producer Dierks Bentley at the helm, Big Rhythm Doug and the boys also enlisted the help of ’90s Country legends Travis Tritt and Terri Clark for the new project.
“When you need a hit…you call Tritt,” says charismatic frontman and certified ladykiller Douglas “Doug” Douglason.
The K Is Silent is set to be released on May 1st.
