Tim McGraw started the day getting us fired up about a new tour with Midland, Ingrid Andress and Luke Combs. However, the attention has turned to his new song “Way Down” with Shy Carter.
This song isn’t very good, but Twitter really hated it and let that be known after the two of them performed it prior to tonight’s National Championship game between Clemson and LSU.
Stay off Twitter for a bit, Tim.

I don't know where I'd rank this Tim McGraw song playing on ESPN but it's "Way Down" on my list of good music.

Tim McGraw shoulda just brought Nelly out and played Over and Over Again. Won’t find a better song from the early 2000s.

I don't think Tim McGraw is technically bro country but this is certainly out of a bro country factory. And I am sick of the networks thinking all music around college football has to be bro country or Imagine Dragons.

Unfortunately for Tim and Shy, these tweets never end. There was also this tumble by Shy.
Tim McGraw also was not feeling Shy Carter. 😂😂 pic.twitter.com/1dUDLHP0do
