Country Singer Rewrites Roger Miller’s “Kansas City Star” For Chiefs’ Matchup With The Texans

With the Kansas City Chiefs gearing up to take on the Houston Texans this weekend, aspiring country singer Blane Howard delivered another original-ish country tune for all his fans in Chiefs Kingdom. Set to the tune of Roger Miller’s “Kansas City Star,” this one is titled, “Kansas City Fan.”

“What’s up Chiefs Kingdom and Kansas City Chiefs fans. After many requests, I decided to do another song for this year’s playoffs! The song is different, but it’s still one about KC.”

Last year, Howard performed a different song for the Chiefs playoff run, one based on “Kansas City,” by Fats Domino.

Go Chiefs eh?
