When I first started paying attention to country music festivals, well before I was old enough to go to any, Country Thunder had two festivals in Wisconsin and Arizona. These days, they do Wisconsin, Arizona, two in Canada, Florida, and beginning next year, another one in Iowa.
It’s a country festival empire.
And next year, that empire is going to see headlining performances from Eric Church, Luke Combs, Kane Brown and Dustin Lynch in Arizona; Luke Combs, Kane Brown, Dan + Shay and Clint Black in Saskatchewan; Eric Church, Dierks Bentley and Kane Brown in Florida; Lynyrd Skynyrd, Kane Brown and Old Dominion in Iowa; and Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban, Kane Brown, and Dustin Lynch in Wisconsin. Alberta has yet to be announced.
I’m seeing lots of Eric, I’m seeing lots of Luke, definitely lots of Kane, and I’m subsequently seeing a shit load of ticket sales in Country Thunder’s future.
