Holy shit.
I’ll be honest, when I first heard the announcement that Sturgill and Tyler would be playing together, I knew it would draw some pretty big crowds, I knew it would sell out in a heartbeat, and I knew it would be one of the can’t-miss shows of the entire year. I didn’t know they were going to be playing many of the biggest venues in town.
Madison Square Garden, The United Center here in Chicago, TD Garden in Boston, we’re talking 20,000 seat stadiums (arenas, whatever) that are the home of some of the most prominent sports franchises in history.
Dubbed the A Good Look’n Tour, Sturgill and Tyler will be hitting 37 cities across the country and, according to the tour poster, they’re about to fuck up some speakers. I hope they have roof insurance, because Tyler and Sturg are about to blow ’em all off.
I’m might just have to call it right now… it’s the show of the year.
