What a wild ride it has been for Luke Combs.
Last night’s heartwarming invitation to the Grand Ole Opry was an absolutely incredible moment for both Luke, and his fans. One wrought with a hurricane (pun intended) of different emotions.
The first time he stepped into that iconic Opry circle on October 29th, 2016, I can’t imagine that he ever thought Craig Morgan, Chris Janson, and the great John Conlee would be standing on the same stage with him just three years later, inviting him to become the newest member of the Grand Ole Opry.
Watching Luke’s emotional reaction, you can’t help but get choked up too. And the craziest part of all of this? It’s only the beginning for him. The sky is the limit.
That being said, let’s take it back to October 29th, 2016, the moment Luke’s Opry journey began.
“Still can’t believe this happened. I was like a kid on Christmas, can you tell? Thanks to the Opry for having me, everyone on team Luke Combs for all that they do to make this possible, and especially you, the fans, without you I wouldn’t be here. See you on the road!”
“I never thought I’d be standing here, about to take this stage. Unreal.”
