Not only is Miranda Lambert one of the most badass country music singers on the planet, she spends most of her free time finding homes for puppies.

Respect.

“To the uninitiated, it probably sounded like dogs barking. But to me, knowing the pure joy that comes with owning a rescue dog – or eight – it was music to my ears,” said Miranda Lambert, who led the mile-long MuttNation Mutt March from Nissan Stadium to Walk of Fame Park.

“We were all marching on behalf of MuttNation to raise awareness for shelter pet adoption and in support of animal rescues across the country – and because it’s fun and it’s our passion”

After the MuttMarch concluded at Walk of Fame Park, Bev Lambert, Miranda’s mom and MuttNation co-founder, along with MuttNation Board members, staff, volunteers, and fans headed to the Music City Center where MuttNation hosted its 4th annual CMA Fest Adoption Drive.

By Sunday afternoon, a MuttNation adoption event record was set – 61 dogs had found new homes.
