Former President of the United States, Jimmy Carter, unfortunately broke his hip yesterday and was forced to undergo surgery. According to a statement from the Carter Family, Jimmy was preparing for a turkey hunting when he fell in his home. He is now “recovering comfortably” after surgery, however his biggest concern of this whole ordeal… not reaching his bag limit.
“President Carter said his main concern is that turkey season ends this week, and he has not reached his limit,” the statement reads. “He hopes the State of Georgia will allow him to rollover the unused limit to next year.”
Spoken like a true outdoorsman.
