Throwback To Eric Church’s 2007 CMA Fest “How ‘Bout You” Medley

Eric Church is in the middle of another epic solo tour, the Double Down Tour, where Eric plays back-to-back nights in each city that he stops in. If you’ve seen him this year, you know what I’m talking about, if you haven’t, what are you waiting for?

Anyways, one of the highlights of this run has been the “Mistress Named Music Medley,” where Eric begins with his own song before launching into a medley of old favorites, usually inspired by the city he’s in. It’s incredible.

As it turns out, it’s something Church has been doing for years.

In this CMA Fest River Stage performance from all the way back in 2007, Eric Church dipped into his bag of songs and pulled out some Rolling Stones, Waylon Jennings, Kansas, Metallica, and AC/DC before closing it out again with “How ‘Bout You.”

He was phenomenal 12 years ago and he’s phenomenal today.
