Chris Stapleton’s Unreleased “Not Much Of A Man” Is A Country Music Masterpiece

Where has this been all my life?

For the most part, it’s my job to listen to music, even the deep cuts and unreleased demos buried deep in the darkest corners of the internet. And believe me, we’re damn good at finding them. That’s why I’m always shocked when I find something that I’ve never heard before, especially from an artist like Chris Stapleton.

This unreleased masterpiece is called “Not Much Of A Man,” a confessional song about a guy that’s willing to be honest about the fact that he absolutely sucks.

“If you’re looking for lonely, you found the guy / I’m a master of giving cheap alibis / when the devil starts dancing, hell I’m in the band / I’m a whole lot of heartache and not much of a man.”

Solid gold.
