Fake it til you make it? Maybe not…
According to this letter found on Reddit, a guy applied for a senior development position, but when he went in for the interview, he was so ill-qualified that the company sent him an invoice for wasting their time.
The letter states the applicant claimed to be familiar with a number of different technologies, however it became “immediately obvious” that he was unfamiliar, even at a junior level. The company ends the conversation threatening to take him to civil court if he doesn’t pay, “as a matter of principal, rather than cost.”
Petty? Absolutely. Hysterical? Definitely.
