The latest trend in the craft beer world appears to be cereal-infused beer.
Beer for breakfast? I’m not mad at it…
A couple weeks ago, we showed you Smartmouth Brewing Company’s “Saturday Morning Marshmallow IPA,” which tastes just like Lucky Charms cereal milk. Unfortunately for most of us, the limited-edition batch sold out lightning fast.
This new one comes from Baltimore-based DuClaw Brewing and is infused with Fruity Pebbles and edible glitter. Affectionately named “Sour Me Unicorn Farts,” the new sour ale is a collaboration with Baltimore’s Diablo Doughnuts and their Unicorn Farts donut, a vanilla-frosted donut dipped in Fruity Pebbles.
At 5.5% ABV, “Sour Me Unicorn Farts” will be released exclusively at the brewery on Saturday, March 16th from 12-4 p.m. Afterwards, it will be released to stores in 16-ounce, six-packs for about $11.99.
