The day we have all been waiting for.

Cross Canadian Ragweed is BACK! Well, at least for one night, and they are bringing a kickass group of musicians to join them for this reunion show.

Just announced, Ragweed is teaming up with the Turnpike Troubadours for one night at Boone Pickens Stadium at Oklahoma State University on April 12, 2025, and will also feature The Great Divide, Stoney LaRue, and Jason Boland & the Stragglers.

At the beginning of September, the Oklahoma band made their first post since 2011, implying that something was happening in 2025. After a few more cookie crumbs, they posted a group image with the simple caption: “Who’s down?” We were ALL down.

Given the excitement of this famed group reuniting for a show, fans are off their rockers. Partly because they can relive their glory days of college getting hammered while belting out “Boys From Oklahoma” and because frontman Cody Canada told the Whiskey Riff Raff podcast they would never reunite. And then earlier this year, he doubled down and told Rolling Stone it wasn’t gonna happen.

But here we are… miracles really do happen, right?

Of the reunion show, Cody Canada says:

“The thing that sticks out the most to me about Ragweed was all the people that we met. People that I’m still friends with, from Portland, Oregon, to Ybor City, Florida, and from New York to San Diego.  That’s why there’s a part of me that never wants to quit doing this. I’m nostalgic for that. I think that everybody should have a little nostalgia in their life.

So, let’s get together, and let’s make sure that we sound really good, and let’s make people smile. Let’s make ourselves smile, and let’s make McClure and Jason and Stoney and the Turnpike boys smile too.”

Chad Weiberg, Director of Athletics/Oklahoma State University, adds:

“We are excited to bring the first ever concert to Boone Pickens Stadium this spring and look forward to hosting this fantastic Oklahoma-based lineup in the home of the Cowboys.  We are grateful to the team at DMG for helping make this happen. This show will benefit OSU’s NIL efforts, and will also be a great event for our student-athletes, student body, alumni, fans and the community of Stillwater.”

Social media has been in a frenzy following the breaking news, and I feel this might be THE show of 2025. You won’t want to miss it.
