The other day, we took the liberty to dream up an incredible, yet controversial (only because I’ve still never heard a bad song from the guy) list of what an Eric Church Greatest Hits album would look like.
Well, it got me thinking as I found myself looking through several artists and bands who I love, pondering the same question: What would their Greatest Hits album look like?
And one band that seemed to cross my mind the most? No other than the great…
Turnpike Troubadours
Now it seemed to make the most sense to create my personal Greatest Hits album from the iconic Oklahoma group, as they have a full arsenal of legendary jams. Also, because there’s still that gut wrenching uncertainty that they may never be a band again (God, I hope I’m wrong).
Anybody who has any basic knowledge of Turnpike knows just how incredible lead singer Evan Felker and bass player R.C. Edwards songwriting abilities are, as each song paints the perfect picture of small town life in the country.
Throw in the out of this world fiddle playing abilities from Kyle Nix, and gorgeous guitar riffs from Ryan Engleman, the group may stand unmatched forever.
So, without further a do, here’s my personal track list of what a Turnpike Troubadours: Greatest Hits Collection would look like:
