Budweiser Launches New Nitrogen Infused Beer – Nitro Reserve Gold

The good folks at Budweiser just launched a brand new beer and for maybe the first time in your life, you’re supposed to… shake it?

Shaking a beer would ordinary be a dick move, the kind of thing you do and then hand off to buddy for an unexpected beer shower, but with Budweiser’s new Nitro Reserve Gold, shaking the can is mandatory. After a few shakes, they recommend three, you’re supposed to give it a hard pour right down the middle of the glass – similar to the way a stout would commonly be poured – let the bubles work their magic and bingo bango, you’re good to go.

“We’re very excited about the introduction of Budweiser Nitro Reserve because it meets the growing demand for premium products and the rise in popularity of nitro infused beverages, said Ricardo Marques, VP Marketing Core & Value Brands at Anheuser-Busch.  With its unique serving ritual, Budweiser Nitro Gold produces a beautiful cascade visual and delivers a silky-smooth taste due to smaller, denser bubbles.”

Clocking in 5% ABV, Budweiser Nitro Reserve Gold is and is available starting today (March 2nd) in 12-ounce cans nationwide.

So if you see your bartender shaking up your beer and pouring it like an asshole, this is probably why. Well, unless you ordered a different beer. Then, they probably just hate you.

Cheers.
