How to Watch the 2026 ACM Awards for Free on Prime Video

Shania Twain
ACMs

We’re now just days away from the 2026 Academy of Country Music Awards.

On May 17, the ACM Awards return to Las Vegas, Nevada for a night that will shine a spotlight on country music. The event will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena this upcoming Sunday (May 17), and the great Shania Twain will be hosting the 61st edition of the ACM Awards.

Sin City is quite the familiar place for the ACMs.

Fans of the long-running awards show might recall that the Academy of Country Music hosted their event in Las Vegas for over a decade. Prior to moving the show to Frisco, Texas in 2022, the ACM Awards were hosted in Las Vegas for 16 years. So this is a bit of a return for the ACMs.

For those planning on tuning in to the show, you’ll need to remember your Amazon log in information, or create a new account. However, you don’t need to be an Amazon Prime member to watch the show. The awards will stream for free on Amazon Prime, all you have to do is make a free account if you’re not already a Prime member.

Since 2022, the ACM Awards have been broadcasted solely through streaming. After being on network television for over two decades (CBS aired the show from 1998 to 2021), the ACM Awards moved to Prime Video in 2022… and that’s where the event will still be found. The 2026 ACM Awards will stream live on Prime Video starting at 8 P.M EST. It will also be broadcasted through the Amazon Music Twitch channel.

So if you or anyone you know want to see Shania Twain host her first ever Academy of Country Music Awards, and also catch all of the performances from country music stars like Miranda Lambert, Ella Langley, Zach Top, Lainey Wilson, Riley Green, Red Clay Strays and many more, you’ll want to make sure you (and your friends and family) know how to log in to Amazon’s Prime Video.

Country fans will definitely want to see who takes home the awards at the 2026 ACMs, and you can check out all of the nominees for this year’s installment of the ACM Awards below:
