“Put Our Name On It & Ruin A City” – Zach Bryan Shades Nashville’s Artist Bars As Beloved Philly Dive Bar Goes Up For Sale

Should ZB get into the dive bar game?

Zach Bryan was at it last night, firing off tweets all through the night. And we all know how this goes: when you wake up to many X notifications from Zach Bryan, then you know there is going to be some slightly unhinged content.

Last night, long before midnight, Zach Bryan began posting on X (formally known as Twitter) and kept them going through the wee hours of the morning.

Of course, there were quite a few posts taking shots at Kansas City fans, continuing the drama after he told the world he would never play at Arrowhead Stadium again, following an online altercation with a bitter Chiefs fan the other week. Bryan last night shared that he’s never going to post about football again, which feels like déjà vu to see that post. So, everyone, cast your bets on how long it takes for him to break that promise (spoiler alert… it was about 5 minutes).

However, as I was scrolling through his posts from last night, one in particular caught my eye. Before the clock struck midnight, Zach Bryan posted the following.

“Starting an OnlyFans dm them directly to donate and get pics.”

Hold on… I have questions.

Need a career change, ZB? The singing thing not bringing in enough dough? DM who? Pictures of what?

The Tweet really had no context as to who fans were DMing and what kind of pictures they were getting in exchange. However, a few moments later, Zach Bryan shared that it was related to some of his earlier tweets regarding the saving of the iconic Philadelphia bar, McGlinchey’s.

“They’re gonna take this outta context for the record dm McGlincheys directly.”

To kick off this tweet storm, ZB shared how heartbroken he was that the legendary Philadelphia dive bar McGlinchey’s was slated to close on Friday. According to Philly Mag, a McGlinchey’s regular shared that a bartender announced their last day of business would be this upcoming Friday. Named as the magazine’s “best dive bar of them all” in 2013, fans of the bar were heartbroken to see this news.

However, the report was quickly updated to state that the bar was not closing, but rather the owner will be shutting the doors for a week of vacation. He also added that he was seeking new ownership for the establishment and had no plans to close the bar permanently at this time. Zach Bryan’s OnlyFans comment was related to this earlier post, in which he told his fans they should all chip in to buy the bar and create chaos in the city.

“Guys, we should buy it and put our name on it and ruin a city.”

A direct shot at all the artist bars in Nashville, eh?

Honestly, it would be pretty cool to see Zach own a dive bar like this. Who knows that the financial profile looks like, but keep everything the same… the name, the vibes, the smoking inside. Hell, next time I’m in Philly, I’d stop by. Do it Zach, do it for the people.

Although, as I mentioned earlier, a GoFundMe seems like a more suitable platform to use vs OnlyFans. And even if that’s what he meant in the wee hours of the morning, it did not take long for fans to begin posting that it was time for ZB to put down the phone. Zach Bryan and late night tweets…. a tale as old as time.
