At least she has a sense of humor about it?
Of course, we’ve all heard plenty about the relationship between 73-year old Bill Belichick and his 24-year old girlfriend, former cheerleader Jordon Hudson, who reportedly met on a flight back in 2021 and struck up a conversation, which ended with Belichick signing Hudson’s college textbook. The two kept in touch, discussing things like cheerleading routines and her college classes, but at the time the New England Patriots coach was married to his now ex-girlfriend, Linda Holliday (who is apparently not a huge fan of Hudson either).
There’s been plenty of reporting about their relationship, especially now that Belichick is the head coach at the University of North Carolina and Hudson is apparently involved in managing his personal business ventures. Emails were released showing that Belichick has asked UNC staff to copy Hudson on emails to him as she manages his brand on social media and in media appearances, and Hudson was even spotted on the field with Belichick at UNC football practice.
But a recent interview with CBS Sunday Morning had people questioning the role that Hudson plays for Belichick. Hudson interrupted and shut down a question about how the two met, and Belichick later claimed that the interview was supposed to focus solely on his new book. (CBS denied that they had agreed to any limitations on the questions they would ask).
It was then reported that Hudson had been banned from UNC football facilities, something that the university denied in a statement, and Belichick sat down for another interview recently with Michael Strahan to apparently do some damage control and clarify the role that Hudson plays outside of being his girlfriend.
There have been tons of headlines about them over the last month or so especially, and Jordon has even been fueling engagement rumors and hinting that they might be getting married soon. That seems like a recipe for disaster, but what do I know… I just keep thinking about the real disaster, which will seemingly be the product on the field at UNC Chapel Hill this fall, and I can’t wait.
There has been little to no attention on the actual team, and Bill was known for telling his players “not to become a distraction” because it would affect the entire team, so it’s incredibly ironic to see the circus show he’s involved in now with Hudson. Other than her outburst during the CBS interview, she’s stayed pretty much off camera, but occasionally posts about their relationship on Instagram.
And last night, she roasted her much older boyfriend with a photo of them eating dinner by the water, showing their wings with the caption:
“Old Bay with my old bae.”
Ok, that’s kinda funny…
But good thing Bill doesn’t really use his own social media, because while this is kind of funny, it’s also kind of not considering the circumstances around the rest of the relationship. Obviously, their age gap has been a huge point of criticism by those online, though clearly Hudson is able to make fun of it and knows that people don’t like it.
She also put the Cinderella song “So This Is Love” on the post.
Clearly she’s taking a shot at the haters by making it a full on post that will stay on her feed forever (or until she deletes it), and she certainly knows how to ruffle people’s feathers with her online presence.
