Hitting the road.
This morning, Kip Moore and Billy Currington announced a late summer/early fall tour that will kick off in June in St. Augustine, Florida and run through September ending in Gilford, New Hampshire. Marlon Funaki and Jade Eagleson will serve as openers.
This comes on the heels of Kip announcing his sixth studio album Solitary Tracks, which will be out everywhere on February 28th, and it will feature a whopping 23 songs on the tracklist.
He has quite a few international dates on his schedule this year too, and he and Billy have previously done a tour together so this will be familiar territory for them.
The last time we heard from Kip in an official capacity in terms of an album was when he put out his fifth studio album Damn Love in early 2023, though he’s turned the page to a new chapter, now signed with Virgin Music Group, after leaving his longtime label MCA Nashville last year.
As far as Currington goes, he last put out his horrific Intuition album in 2021, which was pretty damn bad to say the very least about it. He’s been pretty quiet since then (understandably), but has released a few singles like “City Don’t” in 2023. Sometimes it’s hard to remember that he’s also the man that brought us hits like “People Are Crazy” and “Good Directions,” so I think if it’s heavier on his earlier material, it will probably be a really fun show to see.
Tickets for the general public go on sale this Friday, January 31st. Check out Vivid Seats when Kip Moore and Billy Currington tickets are available. They’re the only platform that gives you free tickets just for going to concerts, which is a pretty good deal if you ask me…

So far from his forthcoming album, Kip has released several songs including “Learning As I Go,” “Live Here To Work,” “Flowers in December,” “Wildfire,” and most recently, a new one called “Bad Spot.” It is easily my favorite so far as he reflects on love lost and being in unable to fully embrace a relationship for reasons that mostly have nothing to do with the girl.
