UFC Fighter Colby Covington Goes Off On LeBron James Over Diddy Connections: “How Many Diddy Parties Have You Been To?”

Not a LeBron fan, eh?

There’s no denying that LeBron James is one of the greatest NBA players of all time. Over his 20+ year career, he’s won 4 NBA championships with three different teams, is a 20 time NBA All-Star, has won 3 Olympic gold medals as a member of Team USA, and is the NBA’s all-time leading scorer.

But he’s also been pretty outspoken during his career, so it’s no surprise that he’s still a controversial player despite his record-breaking resume.

Most recently, LeBron has come under scrutiny for his connection to disgraced rapper and producer Diddy, who is currently in jail awaiting trial on serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. He’s also facing a ton of lawsuits from women who claim to have been sexually assaulted by the rapper dating back decades.

Diddy has been accused of hosting “freak offs,” which were apparently parties full of celebrities and others where the sexual assaults would take place. Which naturally raises the question: Who were the other celebrities involved in this?

Everybody’s been speculating on who might be on the “Diddy list,” and been digging through past statements from celebrities for clues on whether they ever attended any of Diddy’s notorious parties.

But we know one person who was a fan of Diddy’s parties, because he told us himself. It was LeBron James.

A resurfaced Instagram clip shows LeBron speaking with Diddy and praising him for his parties:

“Ain’t no party like a Diddy party.”

So, what did he mean by that? Well, that’s what everybody wants to know – including, apparently, MMA champ Colby Covington.

Ahead of his UFC on ESPN fight this weekend against Joaquin Buckley, rather than talk about the upcoming fight, Covington opened up a press conference today with a question directed at LeBron:

“I’m gonna start this off, you know, since I’m the man of the hour, the man of the show, I wanna ask LeBron, what does he mean by ‘There’s no party like a Diddy party?’ I truly wanna know. And not only that, LeBron, how many Diddy parties have you actually been to? I’m really curious to know. And is that the reason you left social media, because of all the backlash you were getting for going to so many Diddy parties?

It’s just pathetic, man. People think this guy’s a role model…LeBron you’re a fucking scumbag, and I hope you get locked up in the same cell with Diddy.”

It’s not the first time Covington has called out LeBron either. Back in 2023, the fighter went off on LeBron and ripped him a new one after he was filmed remaining seated for the national anthem while watching his son Bronny play at USC:

“I’m gonna say one last thing, I’m gonna say one last thing to you guys… f*** LeBron James.

If you hate America so much and you don’t like this country that gave you a billion dollars, leave it… or come deal with me. Go to China, go to these sweatshops that you employ all these laborers and use these women and pay them pennies on the dollar to make your millions.

F*** you LeBron James, you’re a coward, a spineless coward and you’re a b***h.”

And before that, Covington had called the NBA player a “spineless coward.”

“Before I go, I want to say a big thank you to the real heroes and celebrities in this country. Not that woke, spineless coward like LeBron James. I’m talking about our heroes, law enforcement, military, our first responders. God bless you, God bless you all. God bless America.”

Yeah, safe to say Colby Covington’s not a big LeBron guy.
