I hope that nickname doesn’t stick… then again, that’s what they were calling Garth Brooks a few weeks ago…
At the end of last week, Barstool’s BFFs Podcast dropped the highly anticipated episode in which co-host Brianna Chickenfry told her story about her breakup with Zach Bryan. The breakup, heard around the world, has been the center of attention on the internet, as ZB has spent his time post-breakup pushing new music, and his ex, Brianna, was processing her feelings and figuring out how she wanted to tell her side of the story.
The explosive episode shared that ZB allegedly offered her $12 million to sign an NDA, sharing stories of times he got mad at her over the silliest things. Overall, Brianna felt as though she experienced emotional abuse and was living in a very toxic relationship.
But before she sat down on camera to tell her side, her other co-hosts, Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards, wanted to tell the world how they felt about Zach Bryan and dropped the brutal diss track, “Smallest Man.”
“You say you remember everything,
I guess not because you forgot about your wedding ring
This ain’t a subtweet, I ain’t coming subliminal,
you’re great at being country without a second syllable
My fist plus your face, simple addition
The way you did her wrong, man is sickening…”
The track left nothing on the table, calling out all of the alleged wrongdoings ZB did to Brianna. However, ZB’s label, Warner, pulled the song off streaming platforms, and Portnoy and Richards were blocked from re-releasing the single as Richards is also signed to Warner. A hilarious plot twist…
Portnoy released a new version of the diss track without Josh “Smallest Man (Dave’s Version)” and hope no one can pull down the single this time.

That however, was not the only surprise they had for fans of “Smallest Man.” Tonight, Dave dropped a second diss track titled “Country Diddy.” And while the Diddy comparison is QUITE a stretch, like the first track, it has no business going as hard as it does.
The single’s cover art hilariously points to wall the things Portnoy made fun of him for, like having a Lego-looking head and the NDA he allegedly asked Brianna to sign.
The single pokes fun at ZB, and the other exes he allegedly had sign NDAs. Then, he steals heartbreak stories and uses them as inspiration for his song, adapting them to sound like they happened to him. They also make digs at him, alleging that he’s an alcoholic and a hypocrite, and once again sing about how he’s not a great guy overall.
“Country Diddy, country Diddy
Steal another story write another country ditty
All these NDAs, you sound like a country Diddy
Something like your face,
This isn’t looking pretty.”
Had Warner just let the first one slide, it would have eventually blown over, but now they’ve incurred the wrath of Dave Portnoy, it sounds like he has no plans of slowing down. He’ll drag this grudge out for the next decade if he has to… won’t even think twice about it. Diss track after diss track… he’ll be in a nursing home in his 90s still releasing diss tracks about Zach Bryan.
