Another impressive record set by Morgan Wallen.
The country superstar just wrapped up his massive One Night At A Time World Tour with two shows in Charlotte, North Carolina over the weekend, that were rescheduled from this past summer.
Of course, both shows were sold out, and during the last show on Saturday night, Morgan informed fans that right before he went out onstage, his team presented him with a plaque in honor of the fact that, with the tour coming to an end and all of the tickets officially sold, it became the highest-selling country music tour of ALL-TIME. The tour boasts a record breaking 3,107,695 fans across 87 shows, including 51 stadiums, 10 countries, and 3 continents… pretty impressive.
It’s really been incredible to watch Morgan go from being an up-and-coming artist with his first hit on the radio to the genres biggest star and an incredibly successful musician selling out stadiums all over the world, which he’s done throughout this tour both in the U.S. and overseas.
While he continues to be snubbed at major country award shows (it’s honestly ridiculous he hasn’t won an Entertainer of the Year award yet and this new feat proves it further), there’s no arguing that he is the guy in country right now, and no one else so much as holds a candle to him when it comes to the pure numbers and album/ticket sales.
I was at the Saturday night concert, and he put on an impressive show that honestly proved why he’s become so successful and earned so many fans over the years:
“Before I walked out onstage tonight, some of my team had given me plaque and it said this is the highest-selling country music tour of all-time. So thank you guys very much, and Charlotte, North Carolina night two for being part of that.
This has been a special couple of years for me and the boys, man, this is truly incredible. Thank you for the warm welcome, I already know you guys are going to be awesome, I can tell from the first two songs.”
Last year, Morgan had the highest-grossing country tour of the year by a pretty big margin, though clearly, he’s broken his own record this year and with his current trajectory, could do it again whenever he embarks on his next trek.
It’s hard to think of anything that really sums up how huge that type of record is, so a massive congratulations to Morgan and his team on an incredibly successful year:

With no signs of slowing down anytime soon, Morgan mentioned that he’s off to hide out in the woods for a couple of months now that the tour’s over, though he’s been teasing new music and putting out singles here and there, so don’t be surprised to get a new album or project of some kind next year, if not sooner.
His song with Post Malone “I Had Some Help” was named Billboard’s “Song of the Summer,” and became a multi-week #1 crossover hit on the Billboard all-genres chart, as well as the country charts.
Morgan most recently released “Love Somebody” on Friday:
