Another top tier Wheeler Walker Jr. VIP experience.
There is genuinely no other fanbase like Wheeler Walker Jr. fans. If this is the first time you’re reading a Whiskey Riff blog about a Walker Jr. VIP experience, buckle up because every time I see one of these videos in my feed, I know it will be unhinged goodness. From the couple that used “God Told Me To F**k You” as their first dance song to portrait tattoos of Walker Jr., or to the most unhinged thing he has seen on tour; they are something special.
Before each show, Walker Jr. performs an intimate acoustic set and interacts with fans who purchase a VIP ticket; this not only shows that Walker Jr.’s whit extends beyond his colorful lyrics but also shows how colorful his fans are. This most recent fan video did not highlight a fan who shared a crazy story but perhaps a death wish.
One fan stepped up to the microphone and told the artist about the drinking game she and the group she arrived with made up.
“We all said every time you say the word…I’m sorry, p***y, we all have to drink. My question is, do I have to get an Uber home?”
If you’ve listened to even 30 seconds of a Walker Jr. song, the odds are you have heard that word. It’s been used plenty of times throughout his catalog. Walker Jr. gave the perfect response to the fan’s question.
“If you’re taking a drink every time I say the word p***y, you’re going to need an ambulance home…this is the last thing you’re going to remember from the night.”
She laughs, walking away before running back up to the microphone, noting that they had already been tailgating to his music, so the last part of his answer very well could be true. Walker Jr. then makes sure she has time with the drinking game, dropping the word four or so times as a send-off.
If anyone knows this woman, can anyone give a status update on whether the drinking game was held all night and in what condition she left the show in? Asking solely for research purposes here…
