The title single off the forthcoming album.
Boy, does this get me fired up for what is to come with the release of The Great American Bar Scene. Zach Bryan recently marked off his first stadium show (that wasn’t part of a festival) in Oakland, California.
@greatamericanbarscene I’m so proud of him, what a huge moment 🥹 #zachbryan #zachbryanconcert #oaklandcoliseum #fyp ♬ original sound – greatamericanbarscene
And what better way is there to thank fans for coming out and supporting him during this big moment than to play them some new tunes? Previously, on his Quittin’ Time Tour, Zach Bryan confirmed that his next record would come out this year. Shortly after the release of the lead single “Pink Skies,” Bryan shared on Twitter (now X) some more details about what fans expect to hear on the self-produced record.
16 songs and a poem! Proudest I’ve ever been of a piece of work. https://t.co/BenJJWnynJ

During the stadium show, ZB treated fans by debuting the title track, “The Great American Bar Scene.” If you are as plugged into social media as we are, then you know he teased the video for the single that highlighted a snippet of the song. Since that teaser, I have been bucking to hear the full version, which does not disappoint.

“I have a new record coming out this year. It’s called ‘The Great American Bar Scene.’ And this is a song I wrote called “The Great American Bar Scene.” It’s not the fastest, so don’t hate us for it.”
He says to the crowd before striking into the song. While ZB was not kidding that this track airs on the slower side of his melodies, the lyrics are well throughout and highlight a story about a group that’s partaking in some mild illegal activity across dive bars.
“My brother from Tulsa has got himself a warrant
But he’s on the run up in Cheyenne
They hammered me up and asked me some questions
But I ain’t no damn rat, man…”
Zach… drop this one or give us a date for the album’s release. We are (still and will continue) begging.
