A huge debut week for Zach Bryan.
His most recent release “Pink Skies” has officially debuted within the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart (which encompasses all musical genres), coming in at #6 according to Billboard, just behind Sabrina Carpenter with “Espresso” at #5.
Additionally, you’ll see that Zach’s country counterpart Morgan Wallen remains at the #1 spot for the third straight week, as his song with Post Malone “I Had Some Help” continues its reign at the top of the charts.
Zach previously debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart when he released his stunning duet with Kacey Musgraves, “I Remember Everything,” and this is Zach’s third top 10 on the chart in total:

Of course, there was a bit of controversy when it was initially reported that “Pink Skies” was being serviced to pop radio after outlets received a rather confusing email from Zach’s label, Warner Records, though that is not actually the case and it’s not being pushed as a single specifically to popular, Top 40 radio stations at this time.
The first taste of his forthcoming album The Great American Bar Scene album, it is a beautiful, heartfelt song that touches on the feelings of grief and loss that comes with missing a person you love. Many on social media have quickly taken to the song and expressed that Zach was able to perfectly capture what they might not have been able to put into words themselves.
The grieving process is something I think almost every single person can relate to in some form or fashion, unfortunately, and I think this song is going to be mean a lot to a lot of different people.
It already shot to the top of the iTunes all-genre songs chart, and with an impressive debut like this, will only continue to do well and potentially even chart organically at country radio, just like his fan-favorite song “Something in the Orange” did (his label did eventually make it an official single too).
