“I Got Me A Mower”- After Signing $84 Million Extension, Eagles Guard Landon Dickerson Treated Himself

Dreams really do come true.

Philadelphia Eagles left guard Landon Dickerson recently got a rather sizable pay day. The 25-year-old signed a four-year extension with Philly worth $84 million, which made him the highest paid guard in NFL history. Oh, and it included a $20 million signing bonus.

When the million-dollar-man officially signed his contract, he took some time to speak with the media. One reporter asked if he had any plans with his newfound discretionary income, and Dickerson responded with this:

“I have a financial advisor for a reason. I don’t know, I may go get a new lawn mower. That’s something I’ve been looking into. Yeah, (a) zero turn.”

Simple man.

With $84 million dollars heading towards your bank account, there’s really not a lot on this Earth that you couldn’t buy. Dickerson could take a luxurious vacation, or buy himself a new fancy house with a pool in the backyard (he probably already has that).

But instead, the man was too busy dreaming about spending a hot summer day on a brand new, state-of-the-art zero turn mower. There’s really nothing like spending a few hours on your big ol’ grass cutter, especially if a couple of ice-cold garage brewskis are involved.

Dickerson didn’t take too long to dream about it, considering he went and made his dream come true by buying a brand new Gravely 60-inch mower. The machine appears to go for around $6,000 to $7,000, which obviously barely makes a dent in that $20 million signing bonus.

And with how happy the highest paid guard in the NFL looks to be sitting on his new purchase, I’d say the mower was actually priceless:

“I got me a mower.”

Don’t you hate to see other people living out your dream? I’m not talking about the football part. Rather, I’m just jealous of the joy Dickerson has sitting in the driver’s seat of his 60-inch Gravely. That’s a man’s man right there.

I’ll go ahead and pin this picture up on my vision board. I too will buy a big ol’ mower one day.
