Now this one has some twang…

Koe Wetzel continues to tease new music, sharing a clip of another unreleased song on his music Instagram page this afternoon that shows a different part of his range in terms of how country he sounds (especially in comparison to 2022’s Hell Paso).

The song, seemingly titled “Betting It All” (according to the Instagram caption), finds Koe singing about how he feels like a cat with nine lives, and he uses that to his advantage, taking chances and rolling the dice more than most people would:

“I’ve got a nine lives state of mind
Betting it all with a roll of the dice
People seem to lose their luck when I come around

I’ve got a 12 pack two dime bags
Flatlined twice just to come right back
God blessed me
The first eight didn’t count
Keep on trying our best to put the black cat down”

As he continues to tease fans with unreleased songs, we’re seemingly getting closer to the announcement of a new album. Koe also recently released a single called “Damn Near Normal,” which is the first official new song he’s put out since his 2022 Hell Paso album.

Check out the teaser for this new one and see what you think… I’m really digging the production here so far:
