Oh, let’s go.

Last week, Justin Moore and Randy Houser made a surprise appearance at Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge here in Nashville, taking the stage at the downtown bar to pay tribute to the late, great Toby Keith with a performance of “Should’ve Been a Cowboy.”

And they also teased an announcement coming soon…

Well today Justin and Randy are back with the news that they’re hitting the road together for a co-headlining tour, the Country Round Here Tonight tour, starting this fall.

The tour kicks off in Charlotte, North Carolina on September 5, and wraps up in St. Louis, Missouri on October 12.

I’ve said it a million times, but Justin and Randy are two of the most underrated guys in mainstream country music.

They may not have the awards that others have, but both guys have catalogs that I would put up against pretty much anybody else.

Justin consistently just keeps cranking out hits, scoring 12 #1 hits, and has been quietly releasing some of the best music of his career over the past few years. And Randy has one of the best voices in country music, yet never seems to get recognized for it.

So the idea of these two hitting the road together just seems like the perfect match. Two solid stars who consistently make great country music joining forces on one stage? Sign me up.

Tickets for the Country Round Here Tonight tour go on sale this Friday, and having seen both of these guys in concert multiple times, I can fairly confidently say this might be one of the best shows you’ll see all year.
