An unexpected collab that I can’t wait to hear.

Miranda Lambert and Enrique Iglesias have a new duet on the way, a song called “Space In My Heart.”

In a shared post on Instagram, the duo announced that it will be released next Thursday, February 22nd, with Miranda saying in the comments:

“Texas meets Spain! Can’t wait for y’all to hear this one.”

They also shared a teaser of the chorus on Instagram, which you can listen to here:

While these two artist definitely come from two very different places and genres, I think it’s a really neat partnership that will certainly expose both of them to two totally new fan bases.

Enrique is a latin pop artist originally from Spain, and has had recorded popular songs like “Dirty Dancer (with Usher, featuring Lil Wayne),” “Could I Have This Kiss Forever? (with Whitney Houston),” “I Like It (featuring Pitbull)” and his mega hit, “Hero.”

And with the crossover potential should they wind up sending this to mainstream Top 40 radio, who knows… it stands a chance to be a massive hit for both of them.
