Last week, we were hit with the shocking news that country singer Chris Young had been arrested at the Nashville bar Tin Roof, after allegedly getting into a fight with the Alcoholic Beverage Commission.

The original story says that Young began to follow the agents and record them. Young and his group then reportedly followed the ABC officers to the nearby Dawg House, which is when things began to turn hostile.

According to agents, Young reportedly “struck” one of the officers, and it took two officers to detain the country singer.

He was ultimately charged with disorderly conduct, assaulting an officer, and resisting arrest.

However, security footage of the incident has since been released, and it tells a different side of the story.

In the video, you can see Young stick his arm out in an attempt to get the agent’s attention, and that’s when the officer violently shoves Young to the ground.

Several patrons at the bar step in and try to breakup the situation, along with the other officers who were on scene.

Since the release of the video, the charges against Young have ultimately been dropped, and rightfully so judging by what went down in the video.

Before the video was released, Young was receiving a good bit of hate over the initial reports.

But, now that there’s video evidence to show that the country singer was non-violent, Young is getting the last laugh.

He posted a video to TikTok, reading:

“For all the trolls saying ‘don’t touch a cop’…

I didn’t touch him.”

Even if Young did touch the cop, it wasn’t nearly violent enough for the officer to react the way he did.
