Now this is a fun group.
Billy Currington announced a spring tour run with Kip Moore and Larry Fleet, which will kick off in April in Atlanta, Georgia and run through June ending in New York City.
Kip shared the announcement in a post on Instagram, and he’ll be on the bill for almost all of the shows included (Redferrin will also open select dates):
“Stoked to do a few shows my buds Billy Currington and Larry Fleet… hope to see you guys on the road!”
Currington last put out his horrific Intuition album in 2021, which was pretty damn bad to say the very least about it. He’s been pretty quiet since then (understandably), but has released a few singles like “City Don’t” in 2023.
Sometimes it’s hard to remember that he’s also the man that brought us hits like “People Are Crazy” and “Good Directions,” so I think if it’s heavier on his earlier material, it will probably be a really fun show to see.
Plus, Kip is being billed as a co-headliner for the shows he’s appearing at, and he still puts on one of the best live country music concerts you can see, and I think these two together will actually be a really fun duo for an early summer concert.
