What a lineup.
Turnpike Troubadours, Old Crow Medicine Show, Lukas Nelson & POTR, Molly Tuttle, Brandy Clark, Steep Canyon Rangers, Sierra Hull and plenty more are all slated to take the stage at MerleFest next year.
The festival, founded by the legendary Doc Watson and named for his son Merle, will be held on April 25th through the 28th of 2024, in Wilkesboro, North Carolina.
MerleFest brings together some of the best artists in bluegrass, blues, folk, country, singer-songwriter, rock and more in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains for a weekend that never disappoints.
Drawing about 75,000 music lovers last year, it far and exceeds the town population of roughly 3,500 people and remains the premiere bluegrass festival in the genre.
And with names like Turnpike, Lukas Nelson and more, I personally can’t wait to be there and see it for myself in person — those two bands alone are some of the best live acts you can see in concert right now.
