Luke Combs is teasing a brand new song over on Instagram called “Noah’s Arkansas,” which he co-wrote a while ago with Eric Dylan.
With just an acoustic guitar in-hand, Luke sings about finding peace on a little piece of land where he can raise his kids with “the chickens and the dogs,” safe from the outside world:
“We’ve been thinking for a while that’s what we wanted
Get out of this town and find a place to call our own
Pack the boys up and we’ll get to leavin’
By the time we’re there I won’t just be dreamin’
Of Noah’s Arkansas
There’s a little piece of Heaven setting South of Little Rock

In what they call Noah’s Arkansas”
The play on words calling it “Noah’s Arkansas” makes it an intriguing title and concept, and while it might actually be a while before Luke cuts anything in the studio since he put an album out earlier this year, I already love the sound of this one.
He said in the caption of the post that it’s “been on my mind lately,” so who knows… maybe we’ll get to hear the full version sooner rather than later:
“Been messin’ around with some new stuff. Wrote this one with my buddy @theflatlandboy awhile back and it’s been on my mind lately.”
