For as much shine as Travis and Jason Kelce have gotten over the past year, no one has been more thrust into the public eye than their mother, Donna.
Leading up to the first Super Bowl where two brothers played against each other for the first time, she was asked who she was rooting for and gave a genius answer of “the offense,” and that moment shot her into a realm of stardom that a player’s mother had most likely never reached.
After Travis’ Chiefs topped Jason’s Eagles in last year’s Super Bowl, the two of them broke down in tears talking about how cool it was that their mom got so much shine from the media leading up to the historical event.

But the attention she got has done nothing but grow from that moment, with her now being featured in the Campbell’s Chunky Soup commercials alongside her sons ala Donovan McNabb and his mom Wilma. And Mama Kelce remains a viral fixture on social media, especially when she’s quoted as saying meeting Taylor Swift was “okay.”
I mean how do you not love that?
Well, tonight we have a Super Bowl rematch on Monday Night Football and of course Mama Kelce will be in attendance wearing her now iconic half Eagles/half Chiefs jersey to support her sons, but before she settles into her private box and potentially meets Taylor Swift’s parents, she decided to make some fans unbelievably happy by working the drive through at a Kansas City area Raising Cane’s.
Raising Cane’s is no stranger to doing cool things to promote their business. They recently teamed up with Post Malone for new locations in Utah and Texas, had Parker McCollum work the drive through in Texas, and have decorated one of their Illinois locations just like the Griswold’s house from Christmas Vacation just to name a few.
Their owner, Todd Graves, is also quite the character, having set the world record for largest round of shots purchased by one person (breaking none other than Merle Haggard’s record from 1983) and once tattooed a chicken finger on Koe Wetzel’s thigh.
Today was yet another one of their incredible marketing moments, as Donna Kelce handed out tenders, fries, and drinks to everyone this morning from 10-11am and it really seemed to make some people’s day.
Gotta say, for as much as some of this Travis Kelce/Taylor Swift stuff irks me, I do love to see me some Mamma Kelce.
It’s shaping up to be another stressful game between her sons tonight, so it’s probably a good thing she got a chance to blow off some steam before hand.
