Black Bear Cubs Dig Into Pile Of Apples, & Literally Couldn’t Be Happier

We’re full force into fall as of right now, which means that everyone is knocking out all of their stereotypical fall activities.

Those fun things to do in fall include, but are not limited to:

-Visiting a Pumpkin Patch

-Drinking/eating something Pumpkin Spice flavored

-Going to a Corn Maze or Haunted House

-Wearing a flannel

In rare circumstances, all of those things can be done simultaneously. Knocking out all of those things at once is often considered the “One Fall Swoop,” and if you’ve never heard of that, it’s because I just made it up.

But one thing I didn’t make up is this video of a bunch of bear cubs enjoying some festive fall treats. Apples, or at least apple cider, is synonymous with fall, right?

Let’s just say that it is, that way we can get to this video of bears eating apples and having the time of their life. I feel like we usually only see bears chowing down and ripping apart other animals (or garbage), so this footage is a good change of pace, and shows that even apex predators eat some fruit every once in a while.

The video comes out of the Kilkham Bear Center in Lyme, New Hampshire, which is an animal rescue service that helps and works to preserve the black bear population. Based on this video and this video alone, I’d say they are doing a great job.

In the clip, black bear cubs are digging into (and sitting on top of) a giant pile of apples, and they are loving every second of it, as you will be able to hear when you watch. The caption asks viewers:

“Have you ever heard bear cubs make their ‘sound of contentment?'”

Absolutely adorable.

Social media was loving the bear cubs burying their faces in the apples, and left a multitude of replies below the video showing their support:

Looks like they like them a lot…
