There are certain things you shouldn’t do in this world… drink and drive, and illegally hunt animals, just to name a couple.

Well, for this bozo out in Edgerton, Wyoming, he just so happened to do both.

According to the Cowboy State Daily, a Wyoming Game and Fish game warden came across a guy in 2022 who was:

“Unconscious/sleeping in the truck with a deer carcass in the bed along a highway east of Edgerton.”

The mule deer that was in the bed of the truck was killed out of season. It all went down in January of last year.

I mean c’mon. If you’re gonna do something highly illegal like poaching, at least make sure you aren’t too boozed up to follow through and finish the task at hand. If you’re gonna try and execute crimes, it helps not to be obliterated drunk.

After the warden noticed the passed out man, he called the Natrona County’s Sheriff’s Office, and the man was arrested on DUI charges.

And shocker, it wasn’t his first rodeo:

“The suspect had a history of DUI charges and as a result had a felony conviction. He was charged with another felony DUI, as well as with being a felon in possession of a firearm.”

The game warden investigated further into the man and discovered that the suspect had pending wildlife violations in four Wyoming counties.

The Johnson County court found the guy guilty, resulting in him losing his hunting and fishing privileges for 55 years, along with $8,000 in fines and $28,000 in restitution. He was also sentenced to a year in jail.

You know what they say. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Although… something tells me this won’t be his last offense.
