Business ain’t boomin’ any more.

Former Pittsburgh Steelers superstar wide receiver Antonio Brown was taken into custody by the Broward County Sheriff’s Office this past weekend on charges of failing to pay child support, according to Local10.

This comes after a judge ordered his arrest back in August after he was ruled that he missed child support payments.

According to TMZ, Wiltrice Jackson, the mother of Brown’s oldest daughter, dated AB back in the early days of his NFL career and the two of them had a daughter in 2008. Jackson claims Brown owes her nearly $31,000 in child support payments.

In an interview with TMZ, Jackson said…

“I can’t be a mom when I want to. I’m a mom 24/7 around the clock. You are being a dad to her when you want to be a dad and that’s not cool. It’s not cool…

He just bet $120k for the Buccaneers game. He just spent $180k on 4, 5 Rolex watches. But still not doing for his daughter… She doesn’t have all those privileges like those other kids have… It’s not the first time, it’s every single time.”

To further add to the story that Antonio has plenty of money, he just won’t pay his court ordered obligation to his daughter, he posted the $15,000 bail and was set free shortly after he was booked.

And for the final nail in the coffin proving him to be a total piece of garbage at this point, he just posted a video of him going to a jewelry store and purchasing some unbelievably gaudy things that I can’t even begin to describe for you…

Not a great look for AB and yet another incident in a now long list of bad looks, including exposing himself to a woman in a Dubai pool and locking himself inside his house as police tried to serve an arrest warrant on charges of domestic violence.

We haven’t seen him on the field since he ripped off his pads and quit during a Bucs game in early 2022 and at this point it’s safe to say we’ll never see him in the NFL again.

As a lifelong Steelers fan, it’s sad to see his life go down in shambles like this and you have to wonder how someone with that much talent could throw it all away. It’s certainly possible there’s some brain damage (CTE) from the hit Vontaze Burfict laid on him, I mean that was in 2015 and things began to unravel pretty much from that point forward.

I guess we won’t really know, but regardless, can you just pay the child support man?
