Incase ya haven’t heard, former star NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown is in some hot water for 45,378th time in his career.
This time, Tampa police issued a warrant for Brown’s arrest for domestic violence towards the mother of his children.
Needless to say, Brown has been on a tear this year for all the wrong reasons, featuring wild stunts like quitting and running out of the stadium in the middle of the game against the New York Jets while he was still playing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, touching and harassing a woman while swimming nude in a Dubai Hotel pool, and also shit talking his former quarterback Tom Brady, who is in the middle of a divorce with longtime wife Gisele Bundchen.
It genuinely feels like there’s some type of negative news about this guy once a week, and he keeps digging the hole deeper and deeper.
And now that there’s a warrant for his arrest, he’s being as difficult as possible, as he allegedly locked himself inside his home when Tampa police came to arrest him.
According to FOX 13, the police said in the report:
“The suspect exited the residence and threw a shoe at the victim striking her in the ponytail. The victim had no injuries but believed the shoe was meant for her head.
The suspect would not open the door or come outside to speak with officers. The suspect also during this incident attempted to issue an informal eviction to the victim.”
The report also noted that the victim’s personal belongings had been thrown out into the street, and by the time law enforcement arrived, the victim had gathered all the items to the driveway. She also added that Brown had two guns inside the house.
ABC Action News also added that police were trying to call Brown out of the house with a megaphone, and at one point yelled out:
“We’re not going anywhere.”
They also noted that they’d made several attempts to get inside Brown’s home, but weren’t successful.
The police have currently left the home without arresting Brown.
