A future #1 hit for Luke Combs is headed to country radio.

After the mega success of his “Fast Car” cover, which wound up peaking higher on the Billboard Top 200 than the original recording of the song and became his 16th number one song, and “Love You Anyway” subsequently going #1 too, there’s a new single headed to country radio.

He announced on Twitter that “Where the Wild Things Are” is up next as an official single, and considering that he’s currently on a run of scoring 17 chart-toppers in a row, I don’t see why this time around should be any different.

A Luke Combs song going #1 kinda feels like a given at this point…

Written by Randy Montana and Dave Turnbull and included on Luke’s recent Gettin’ Old album, it tells the story of reliving and reminiscing on wild, forlorn times and has that nostalgic element in so many of Luke Combs’ songs that many people relate to and love.

The only real question here is how fast the climb to the top will be, honestly:

“Excited to announce ‘Where the Wild Things Are’ will be my next song on Country Radio!”

Turn it up…
