Imagine this. You’re casually having a picnic with your family, enjoying good food and fresh air, when all of a sudden a bear comes out of nowhere and jumps on the table, and begins to eat the food like it’s his own.
What would you do?
Me personally, I would probably run away in absolute terror.
Well this wild scenario became a reality for this family in Mexico.
This one went down near Monterrey, Mexico.
According to PetHelpful, it happened when Silvia Macias from Mexico City was on vacation with her son Santiago in the area, and they decided to have a picnic with a family friend at Chipinque, a local park.
That’s when out of nowhere, a black bear walked directly to the table, jumped on, and began chowing down on all of the food that was laid out.
I have to admit, I respect the calm demeanor Silvia was able to keep during this encounter, because the bear is literally only a few inches away from her and Santiago, where you can see her holding her son as he turns away in fear.
Not to mention, the bear leans over and appears to sniff the top of Santiago’s head, which would be enough for me to want to run away.
Talk about a wild scene.
